The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially locked in the schedule for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2026. As India's largest medical entrance exam, over 22 lakh students are gearing up for the big day.

Exam Date: May 3, 2026 (Sunday).
Exam Timing: 02:00 PM to 05:20 PM (3 hours and 20 minutes).
Admit Card Release: Expected in the last week of April 2026.
Result Declaration: Tentatively scheduled for the second week of June 2026.
Current Status
The registration process, which saw a final extension until March 11, 2026, is now complete. The application correction window officially closed on March 14, 2026. Candidates are now advised to keep their login credentials ready to download the Exam City Intimation Slip, which usually drops 10-15 days before the exam.
Important Exam Day Instructions
Mode: Offline (Pen-and-Paper) using OMR sheets.
Reporting Time: Entry to the center usually begins at 11:00 AM; the last entry is strictly at 01:30 PM.
Languages: The test will be available in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, and regional options.
Make sure your Aadhaar and other identity documents are updated, as NTA has implemented enhanced eKYC and live photo capture measures this year to ensure a smooth process.
